What is Accurx?
Accurx enables online requests for administrative queries such as repeat prescriptions, extensions for fit notes, and letter requests. Additionally, you can submit medical queries for issues that can be addressed online, without the need for a telephone or face-to-face consultation.

What can I use the online consultation service for?
You can use our online consultation service for administrative requests such as obtaining sick notes, requesting referral letters, accessing test results, and submitting medical queries that our team can respond to online.
Can I book a telephone or face-to-face appointment through the online consultation service?
No, the online consultation service is not for booking appointments. Please use our separate booking system to arrange telephone or face-to-face consultations with a doctor.
How do I request a sick note?
Please submit your request through our online consultation service, providing details of your condition and the required duration of the sick note. Our team will review your request and issue the note accordingly.
How can I get my test results?
All your results should be easily visible to you on the NHS app. alternatively you can contact us by telephone using our Results Hotline number: 020 8670 6878 from 11am to 1pm, Monday to Friday.
How do I request a medication?
The easiest way to get your medication is through the NHS app. You can see all your repeat prescriptions, request them by the click of a button, and even see when they’ve been issued by the practice. You can also use our online consultation service Accurx to request medications. Or you can request medications in person at the practice.
What kind of medical queries can I submit?
You can submit any non-urgent medical questions that you would like advice on by email or text. Our healthcare professionals will review your query and provide a response online. This is not an alternative means of requesting an appointment.
How long does it take to get a response?
We aim to respond to all queries within 48 hours. However, response times may vary depending on the volume of requests.
Can I request to be contacted by a specific GP or member of staff?
Yes, you can request continuity by asking to be contacted by a specific GP or member of our staff. While we cannot guarantee availability, we will make every effort to honour your request. However, this is not how you request a telephone or face to face appointment.
What are the operating hours for submitting medical queries?
Our medical query service is available from 8am to 2pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Please submit your queries during these hours for a response.
