Young Patients — Consent (aged 11 and above)

Under NHS England guidance, young people aged 11 and above have the same legal rights over their health data as adults. They can allow or prevent access to their records by others, including parents and guardians.

If you are a parent or guardian making a request on behalf of a patient aged 11 or above, their written consent is required before we can proceed.
