Physician Assistants

Physician Assistants are healthcare professionals with a generalist medical education who work alongside doctors providing medical care as an integral part of the team.

Physician Assistants are practitioners working with a dedicated supervisor and are able to work independently with appropriate support.

At Paxton Green, we have had our Physician Assistant Jac-Marcus Goult working under the supervision of the doctors for several years. He is a highly valued member of the team and has consistently received excellent feedback from patients.

In line with the Leng Review the majority of Mr Goult’s appointments are booked by other GPs in the practice following a telephone consultation. As Mr Goult has been with us for so long, he is well known to many patients. If you have already seen Mr Goult and wish to arrange follow up with him for a condition that you have already seen him about, then you can do so by speaking to Reception.

Jac also works with our nursing and pharmacy team to provide routine monitoring appointments for a number of long term conditions.
